New to Forum and Audi's

Just got a 1998 A4 2.8 Quattro. Need to do a few things to it. Need to change the thermostat, or verify temp sensor, sometimes OK others takes for ages to reach op temp. Checked your forums don't see a write up it. Navn't got any repair manuals yet. anyone got a write up?
