Hi everyone!

I bought my first decent Audi last weekend! I go to pick it up tomorrow (all things going well ). It's a 2000 S3 pre face-lift model, 52000 miles for £11000. Bought it from an Audi dealership so hopefully all things will be running smooth.

I had an old Audi 80 about a year ago & it served me well until I moved in with the girlfriend. She had a new Pug so to narrow it down to 1 car the Audi had to go. BUT....I split with her a couple of month ago so happy days are here again!

I've already got some good info from here in the couple of days I've been prowling around, so I'll be sure to return & help out where/if I can.

Anyway, hope to converse with you all soon on the forum.

Yeah it's the proverbial night & day for sure! I had an 8v MkII Golf GTI, bored out to roughly a 2.2 back in the early 90's. Still nowhere near it really but almost similar lol.
