My name is Mike and I am a new member of the forum.
I have an Audi A3 1.8 Quattro T Sport - 1999 pre-facelift.
This is going to be my project car. I have owned it for several years, but am now in a position where I have a standard car to use for work. This means the Audi is off the road - making it much easier to work on
.
My plans are to build a good fun, smooth running weekend car.
I have already spent a lot on the boring but necessary parts such as a cambelt, new radiator, water pump, various sensors etc.
The outside will remain pretty much standard. I will uprate the suspension and brakes, and other components as required; however, the bulk of the attention will go on the engine.
Really pleased to be part of such a great, well supported forum.
