hi im a new member just like to say hello everybody just like to say i had one of my gas struts sorted on my audi a4 avant 1.8 2003 quattro looked all over audi forums but no joy anyway tried pop rieting it fell out after three days so took it to my mate who is a steel fabricator he welded a piece steel plate over the exsisting hole with a welded bolt on the drilled four holes in each corner and spot welded them to the body job done it is a 100 percent fix so if this is any help to anyone good geoff the audi man
