I've just purchased my second Audi. My first was an Audi 100 5D purchased in 1992. However I've owned lots of Volkswagens in the past and I'm currently restoring a VW Scirocco Storm, that means it's in lots of pieces in the garage.
The 1.8T A4 was purchased as a (hopefully) reliable form of transport to get to and from work, which is a three hour drive to Wales. I'll be clocking the miles up so no doubt I'll be doing a lot of servicing. I've owned a VW Passat B5.5 in the past so I'm hoping the A4 is not too different to look after. The Passat was a great car and I managed add over 130,000 miles to the 27,000 it had when purchased, without any issues.
