Peterborough bound Ford person, but certainly not blinkered by the badge
I currently own a fast road Puma, and a tidy 1 owner ultra low mileage mk4 Escort Popular, but I'm on the hunt something more practical and quicker for a daily as the Puma is hideously loud/cold/harsh lol.
So, I initially narrowed the shortlist down to an 850/phase 1 V70 T5, a 2000ish 9-3 Aero or a GT Four Celica (odd mix I know) but after throwing some insurance quotes around (I'm 21), I discovered I can insure a B5 S4 for around the same price as the above cars.
What's to look for on them? How much should I be spending? I've got a budget of around £4000, maybe £4500, will that get a nice example?
I wouldn't go mad with the mods (famous last words), just some basic breathing mods and an exhaust to release the sound of that V6!
