Hi guys. My names Jason im 22 and im from Middlesbrough! Im very new to audi's. Only just found out i have a '8p' Im not new to forums and going to meets etc. So hopefully you guys have meets around the NE region?


Little about the car.


It's a sprint blue? It's got Sat-nav, Flat bottom steering wheel, Full cream and leather seats (heated), Bose speakers


Dont really know much else tbh.. Hopeing to learn a little about it on here. It's only got 40,000 miles. Anything i should look out for? Here is a couple of terrible phone picture's.. First ill show you my Fiesta.

Loving every second of it! BIG step up from the 82BHP fiesta.

Nice S3 Mate - Miltek exhaust first if i was you then a stage 1 remap or better still 1 of the others if you have the money Type

im hopefully going stage 1 with mine after christmas
 
andi bet it feels a bit different to a 83bhp fiesta lol - i recongize that garage aswell its off that dual carriageway nr darlington
 
Cheers mate! Aye iv had a little look at the milteks! Wouldn't mind one like. Think I'll be getting a EvoMS air intake too. Hopefully be going revo! Not really sure where to go in the north east though? Iv got a couple of plans anyway! Hopefully they will all pan out! It sure is off the a66 Mate! Right near darlo! Need some decent weather to get the car cleaned and get some Proppa pictures off it!
 
yeah there good exhausts i was fortuate to find 1 of ebay for a reasonable price (s3 stuff is quite hard to get hold of on ebay, my mate as a astra vxr and theres something new on there every week lol.
 
Stuff does come on sometimes - recaros are a nice extra aswell but be prepare to shell out £1500-£2000 for a set on ebay
 
I've seen them seats! Very very nice! Hopefully sort some LEDs out soon! I want the lot changing.
 
Any reason for going Revo? Shark maps are just as good and a lot, lot less! Air intakes then Auto specialists or contact Brodster on here for a CTS turbo intake.

As far as exhausts go you can pick up a milltek from most VAG specialist places, however if your looking at spending the full whack on a turbo back, look at the BCS power valve systems too… :p Same price but more of a rally car sound at full chat as the systems designed to work with the boost from the turbo :)

Havnt actually head of 'Shark' Ill have to have a look into it before i make the decision! Thanks for the information! I was looking at the EvoMS air intake.. Anybody had any experience with these??

Evoms looks a little like the CTS turbo, however looking at it both of these are imported into the UK?

Shark are a well known tuning company and very well respected within the VAG community. Their packages for the S3 go from stage 1 to stage 3 which in their terms is standard engine/turbo with supporting mods to make 350BHP+ at stage 3.

Revo stage 3 is a turbo upgrade and engine work 400bhp+, Revo stage 2+ is the equivalent to shark stage 3. If you are planning to go onto big big power then stick with revo or APR etc, if not then most people would recommend shark, those who have it seem to swear by them!!

Shark is £400 whereas revo is £499 plus vat ATM they have 20% off so it costs £480
All in for a Revo. How far are you from brodster, he's just outside Edinburgh and does good deals on shark & cts turbo, milltek, BCS, pretty much anything you want to be fair!!
 
He sounds like a pretty usefull man. Ahah! I'm about 2 and a half hours away from edinbrough. Maybe a little more
 
never heard of shark personally - revo place local to me so thats why id go revo lol
 
Time to get on down to the 8P section of the forum and see what everyone has chosen for their remaps,and what the feedback is.

In general,Shark,Revo,APR,AMD,and the other well known companies will offer you a good,well developed(!) product,and good back up.

For big power,(i.e.over 400bhp),there are only two companies to choose from....Revo or APR.

Mine runs Revo,Decked's runs APR.
 
I suppose it's just down to self preference the way the arguments go on! I really arnt sure.

There is a garage local to me called Big Fish Tuning and he is known around this way for his remap's. He said he would do mine and he rekon it'll go close to 310.

Is it an S3??? The FBSW appears to be from a later A/S3 8 p 2009 on. Great for a. 22 yr old !

Thanks mate! Aye it's a s3. Completely standard at the minute. Except Lighting upgrades in the interior and number plates etc.
