Always loved VAGs, had a mk1 gti, Corrado G60, Mk3 Gti, v6 4mo and for the last year been driving round in a Revo stage 1 20vt gti
Never really took to it, was pretty quick and got me by but I got the need for something else. Got the bug in my head and decided on something different.
This weekend had a 225 tt to look at and tried calling about a cupra r. Got to 7ish Saturday night and I was on pistonheads, though "il have a cheeky look for an S4" to my shock one popped up, low miles, owned by a VAG nutter who was only selling cos he got a camper van. Plus he was only about 8 miles from me. Went to see it Sunday morning and fell in love at first sight. Drove it and I didn't even bother looking at the other cars.
There's just about every receipt from new for it. All main dealer and specialist. And best bit is it's totally standard.

Plans for this are to keep this nice and standard. I maaaayyy go for a re-map but we'll see how it goes til next year.
At the min I've got to sort the sunroof drains out as got some steaming up issues. Had a look under the scuttle and thats all dry, front sunroof drains are fine but the rears are dripping a little inside so next week it's rear bumper off and getting some wire up the holes.
Still can't stop smiling when I drive it.
