Hi, thought i'd just drop in a message and say hello!

Considering a change to Audi from MB, currently considering an A6 4.2 V8, but concerns over gearbox failure rates and costs!!!!

Are they really that bad?? If so any ideas on rebuild costs, alot of car for the money, and more sure footed than my MB
