My so's daughter has an A3 1.9 Tdi 2002 and it has just turned 220,000 miles.
This impressed me alot, so much so that I started looking for one without having to travel too far from home.
We had a Yaris before which just kept going and going without fault.
However a chap at work lost his nerve on the snow and T boned our lovely little car.
It was a door piller hit and I knew from old this would make it a write off.
I think in hind sight I should of bought the replacement car from some other garage.
But how can you tell a good garage from a bad one.
Anyway the car has only 88k on an 03 plate so I am lead to believe.
And it will do untill we can get something newer next time.
I had planned to change the car at the end of 2013.
So we ended up with a blue 2003 A3 1.9 Tdi.
