Hello everyone, ive not long been given (yes given!) a 1999 A3 1.8T AGU, so i joined up to get in the 'know' on these cars.
Unfortunately the oil light started appearing so ive just fitted a new oil pump and pick up pipe assy. Didnt bother measuring oil pressure until new pump fitted as i thought as they suffer with oil sludging anyhow so decided to whip the sump off and make sure its clean. Its now 4 bar @ 2000rpm so happy with that. Now the LCD in the dash has died so cant tell if light is still on!
Im looking to track day it this year as well as be a road legal car for running around in. So far ive fitted a milltek turbo back system which i have modified (i cut the tailpipes off at an angle to hide behind bumper like the original exhaust) Cupra R front brakes and Cupra R wheels.
Looking for a Ko3s next, a front mount and a remap so its got some more power!
