Newbie saying hello

    Hi guys

I've just signed up today. Post a lot on Club GTI.

I've got a Mk2 Golf GTI 16v which I love to bits but unfortunately need to sell on due to work commitments.

Am thinking of getting an A4 2.8 Quattro, or generally open to ideas.

Is the 1.8T favoured over the 2.8?

Anyhoo, i'm off for a browse round your forum

I'd like leather and aircon definately

Is there a HUGE difference in fuel economy between the 1.8 and 2.8?

    Hello and welcome.

May be worth asking the guys in one of the A4 B5 forums about the 2.8.

Welcome to the Forum!, I would go for a 1.8T Quattro, then remap/chip it, and the 2.8 will be left for dust
