hi new to site great place and great people thanks very much for every bodys help so far
how do i find something out on the stickys please i need to know how to do a n249 bypass

Hello

If you navigate your way to the A3/S3 8L section on here you will see a list of threads at the top of the page is all the "sticky" threads and you will see a FAQ section and you will find the guide i used to do my N249 bypass plus lots of other very useful stuff

I reccomend you also take a look at the oil pick up pipe replacement on the S3 as its a known issue for it to get blocked up and starved oil to the engine.

thanks guys iv'e just done that and been threw it what size of pipe is needed ? please if anybody knows cheers

it says 4mm in the thread but I could only get 5mm and it fitted fine, but mine isn't an S3. Just make sure the Tee piece you buy fits snug.
