Hi all,

New to the forum.

Just bought a B7 A4 2.0TFSI Quattro.

Its a 55 Plate in Silver with 64,000 on the clock.

Just come from a 1.4 VW Lupo, but driven a few other quick cars.

Ive got a few things in mind.
Coilovers,
Wheels,
Stage 2,

But since ive just got it, and got a bit of a warranty too. Id like to keep it as standard as possible.

At least until we have got winter out of the way!
 
plans sound promising, when you start adding your mark on it start a build so we can see the progress.

be worth checking the little bits on your engine that are prone, fuel pump lifter, PCV valve and DV. relatively simple checks and to replace.

check the history too see if any have been replaced could save you some time :)
 
Yeah, thats my plan.

It has FASH, but other than that the only real reciept is for a recent cam belt and water pump change (at Audi).

I intend to check the PCV and DV too.

When at idle running cold. A tap on the throttle up to 2k rpm and it holds for a couple of seconds, so going to figure out if thats normal or needs fixing.
