just thought i would get my first post on the board before my purchase. due to be buying my first s3 in the next couple of weeks so im sure to be posting with questions and ideas as i have lots, so maybe with some guidance ill be able to build something special and try some new things i have rattleing around in my head from what iv seen and heard in the run up to saving the money to buy one. so hope to see you guys and girls soon cheers.... much love

thanks for welcome guys. im looking at an 8L but still unsure if it will be the face lift or not for insurance reasons, but i do prefere the facelift. so im looking in the area of around the 02 mark and from what iv seen the money im looking to spend will get me a pretty good car. im located in cheshire plenty of specialists around my area, "awsome" "PSI" to name a couple so im sure ill be in good hands with local knowledge.
finaly got my s3!!!! 2000 8l in yellow. milage is at 104000 which is higher than i wanted but seeing so many with lots more miles than this and my car having full history seemed a good purchase for what i paid for it. needs some tlc here and there but a very good base in my eyes to start with.so im sure to be posting some pics when the weather picks up just enjoying it for now. see you guys soon
