Hi, have read a few threads on this one but am none the wiser.....as it would appear Audi are in the same position ! My 2008 PD 2.0L Tdi 170 is starting to suffer starting problems. It has been in for the recall and had all 4 injectors replaced and has only started to have the problems since having them replaced. When the engine is not cold, ie residual temperature still registering on the gauge, and having only been left a couple of hours it starts fine. When left overnight and started it runs very rough for about 2-3 seconds, then settles down and drives and runs fine. A couple of times after running rough for a couple of seconds it dies then needs 5-6 seconds of cranking over to eventually start and grumble in to life. Audi's response it would seem is to just replace parts until they trip over the effected part, Thye have started with a new fuel filter and software update, I don't have large amounts of money to throw at this so any help would be very, very welcome.
