New and in need of help!

Hi all,

I've just found this site and am hoping it will help me get some good info about the S/RS range.

I'm currently thinking about buying an old(ish) S3 once I sell my current car, but am wondering if any other models will suit my needs better.

A friend of mine has a new A3 quattro 3.2 V6 S-Line. That's quite nippy.

How does an S3 compare to that?
