Just bought myself an 8l Audi s3 on Tuesday so thought I would join up and say hello,the car is a 99 T plate with 141000 on the clock,it's silver with black leather and blue alcantara trim,it needs a little bit of work but mainly body work but I work in an accident repair bodyshop so won't be a problem getting it sorted over time,I've already got a few plans for it once I sell a few more bits off my cossie mk4 escort,I've already got a milltek back box for it and a set of Porsche boxster 18 inch turbo style wheels to go on aswell once I sort hub adapters and tyres aswell

x Yeh will get a few pics up of it when I get a chance,it's not mint but was cheap so can't moan about it,it just needs paintwork and a few little bits of rust to get rid of so will be ok over the next few months,I live in Luton

Sold the engine,turbo and ecu out of the car after the gearbox broke which payed for this
also got these waiting to got on once I've got tyres and hub adapters for them,they can off a car we had in work so didn't cost me a penny same with the milltek back box just needs a bit of repair and was free aswell

Cheers the escort I've owned for about 7 years now and started as just a normal 1.3 and then I converted it to rs turbo and was 4wd and cosworth powered before I stripped it,it was also featured in fast ford magazine twice

Fast ford is a good mag. You will fit in well here as you will soon find out. The guys are always modding something on here. Have you looked through the pics thread at the top of the 8l page? Some really cool cars in there. 8p section is the same, lots of great ideas to be found in there as well. x

Yeh wheels were a right result they've got a little bit of damage but nothing that can't be sorted and they were free aswell lol also got an s3 in work at the moment had a shunt in the back which damaged the back box so needed to be replaced so I've got a free milltek back box aswell lol
