Been lerking around as a guest for some time now and been looking to get a S3 8L sometime in the next 5 months. But now that has come further in time due to my current car (306 DT) cambelt being torn off only a month since I rebuilt the engine and with bigger turbo etc.

So basically, on the look out for a fairly cheap S3 8L. Preferably facelift.

Hi,

A mate just picked up a 1999 s3 for £700... Needed a front bumper and engine had oil starvation.

This is easily the best forum for 8l'ers

Good to hear it's the best for 8l'ers For me, they just look fecking awesome.

I'm looking under the 2.75k mark and there's the odd few on ebay/autotrader that are in budget and are high miler's obviously. But that won't worry me.
