just signed up to the site as I have just recently bought a 2000 (X reg) A4 1.8TQS saloon.
I've had VAG cars for ages(VW Golf's) and just love the quality, and the A4 is top of the pile IMO, even though its 12 years old.
I bought a Mk4 Golf 1.8T a while back as a toy to modify, but hated it.
It was plenty fast after the remap, but it just didn't feel as good as my trusty old Mk3.
So I sold the Mk4 and put a 1.8T into the Mk3. Lovely.
But, I've always wanted an Audi, and when this 1.8TQS came up for sale just up the road from me, I just had to go for it.
What can I say, except that I love it, except for the softish suspension(it has the sport suspension, but its got 95k on it), but that is getting sorted.
All in its a great car though and I'm sure I'll have lots of fun in it, plus be able to keep it running properly with all the help and advice available from you guys.
