I recently got an 85 5000s and it has a bad transmission leak. I took it to the garage fir new seals and got it back the same way I left it so im going to try and fix it myself but im not sure where the leak is coming from. I was wondering if there is any places that they are known to have problems like this

Wow, there's a blast from the past.
In the UK I think this was the Audi 100, and whilst I know nothing about their transmission I did find this on the web:
