    Newbie considering a 8L A3 1.9 PD 130 Quattro Sport 6sp

    Worth the extra premium, weight and less mpg over a 2wd ?

    Expensive for a small car, BMW E39 530d and E46 330d territory.

    Advice, and must do mods.

    Has it a dual mass flywheel and is it best to convert to single mass ?

    Will a Stage 1 + 50bhp & 50ft lb remap kill the clutch.

    And what conversion and or clutch for Stage 1 for a near stock feel ?

    Its confusing as the 8L seems to be S3 city, and there's the diesel forum too.

    lol yeah its the same on the 8P section too bud don't worry lots of S3's but the tdi crew are coming back haha , just post in there they should be able to advise you on common problems etc..

    its got the dmfw a remap wont kill the clutch
    im running 260hp on the 140 2.0 lump and no clutch problem yet
