    Smile Newbie :) S3 8L 270bhp

    Hi All

    New to the site and recently new to my little Audi - or my first 'proper' car.

    Will get some pics up etc soon

    Just curious - the clutch is seriously heavy...is this normal on the S3? I had a VW GTI before and never really thought much about it, guess I'll get used to it if it's just the norm!!

    Welcome mate, as said post in the A3/S3 section, but i can tell you now, my S3 clutch does not feel heavy, so i wouldn't say it was normal, unless my clutch is lighter than normal lol.

    Hope you get it sorted.

    Just recently got an S3 2002 myself and the clutch is light as a feather compared to my old 2001 Polo GTi 6N2 lol?!

    welcome jf its running 270bhp u might find they uprated the clutch as some slip after re map:thumbup:

    hopefully it'll put your mind at ease to know i too feel the clutch is quite heavy. i was driving an A3 before and i never really thought about it unitl i took the S3 out for a drive, noticed how heavy the clutch felt straight away, the difference is night and day! i guess it just depends what you're used to though
