Newbie - Hello

Hello, just purchased my first Audi, just needed a decent runabout. Heres a link to the car.

1999 AUDI A3 1.6 3dr Hatchback

A little worries over all the gearbox stories but the car has been very well maintained, and drives well. Only thing is Cambelt will need doing shortly.

AM hopng to be posting on here, hopefully not about too many problems

Looks a bit of a bargain and just run in. If the the gearbox feels fine then I wouldnt worry about it and being the 1.6 cambelt shouldnt be too expensive cheaper still if you can do it yourself.

Thanks, will be planning on changing the belt in the next few weeks, got someone to do it cheap

The car defo seems a bargain, only time will tell but everything works, its super clean and it feels sounds, not at all like its done 150k. Got it for 750 and going to take good care of it. Will have very subtly things done, but not planning any major work except for good maintenance
