Hi All,
I'm new to this forum and seeking some help.
I have a 2005 Audi A4 2.0 S line TDI wagon and recently had issues with the chain driven oil pump and rather than go with the Audi "rip off" reccomended Balancer Shaft conversion I had my local garage replace the Oil pump sprocket, chain and Tensioner Asy, luckily the Crankshaft sprocket was not worn (as this part is not available as a spare!!!!). The engine is now running fine without the rattle and noise, the problem I have is at low revs where a diesel engine should be able to pull ok the engine starts to splutter and falter like you get in a petrol engine at low revs (note this was evident prior to the replacement Chain/Tensioner). I have to drop down a gear and all is fine, but this is not correct. The Indy mechanic highlighted that possibly the injectors are worn and need to be replaced, my service book shows they were replaced at 60k the car is now at 115k.
Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
