I have been a BMW nut for years and hoon about in an M3 most of the time.
But.....the Mrs wants a child and wants me in something slow and sensible. One of my friends had his Audi A3 1.6 Sport clutch go, which also managed to bust the gearbox. Nothing else wrong with it.
I work for Salisbury Audi so can get labour at staff rates
etc, so all is being fixed for about £300. Bargain.
I know its no S3 but its ok. Just need to colour code those horrible plastic bits of the lower bumpers. Also needs a set of TT rims and lowering about 40mm.
It'll be ok then.
