Hi guys been floating about for a few weeks now and thought its about time to introduce myself and show some pics of the car and mods so far.

Anyway the Car is a 2004 1.9TDI SE Spec 6Speed 130BHP in Black with Black Leather, Cruise Control, Steering Wheel controls, the car has a FVAG service history and the milege currently sits at 85,000 miles, and so far I'm very happy with her

This car about a month and a half ago

Since then I have fitted a genuine Audi rear blind and a set of 18" staggered Mer Carlsson rep alloys which I picked up for £100 yes I did say £100 :jump:and that also included brand new Cooper Zeon tyres!!!!!

And the car now

Other mods planned are obviously a drop as it sits way too high atm!! maybe just 40mm springs for now, the car body rolls pretty much like a bus!!! Also want to smoke the windows, get the car detailed and maybe a Re-map? but clutch faliure is putting me off for now, we'll see?

Any comments good or bad welcome :)

remap !!!!!!!11

yep you will love it
the clutch will be ok dont worry

I've heard some bad reports though? what would you recommened in terms of reliable economical power 150,170 or 190??

Welcome to the site. Remap definately, the 130bhp engine you have is pretty bullit proof! I've had a few.

But to what output? what output would give me the best all round performance in terms or economy and power?? I've read that 170bhp would be the best??

Welcome
yes
if engine and rest is ok you can have even 200bhp and 405nm like my friend without any mods
HIS engine was just nearly perfect and on ecu remmap day he get 200-201bhp and something like 405-406nm
and all that is safe for the engine, turbo and clutch as well

Blimey 200bhp and 400nm!!!!!! So how come I keep reading about clutchs slipping pretty much straight after remaps??

Clutches will slip if you have too much boost. I would keep it around 180bhp. That way you wont over work the turbo too.
