My a3 blowers started to play up just before Xmas they would sometimes only work when I knocked under the glove box now nothing at all! Any ideas ? Its a 99. And has done 155,000 cheers Paul.

Brushes in the motor you can buy them search google I replaced mine on my A4 a couple of years ago just about the same motor you just need some basic skills with a soldering iron at the most.
did the blower fan make a sort of grinding noise at all? ive literally just replaced my fan, its a 10 minute job! i just bought a new fan from ebay and its sorted it sweet as a nut!
