Polo Auto Locking Issue

Have a Polo 6n2 1.4SE, just had a Cobra alarm fitted to it that controls the total closure and also has the option to auto lock on startup or speed sensitive, however, everytime we go to set that up, the total closure stops working, anyone else had this issue or know of a workaround??

Also, if i leave it as it is, controlling the total closure, can i just set the auto locking (anti hi-jack option) via VAGCOM??

Any help will be much appreciated.
