Well, I have a post with some details of my A3, now time for one of my Golf.

First off, a few mods...

1998 Golf AGU 1.8T (114k)

K03s (new)

Silicone TIP (cant remember make, but to same standard as Samco, Forge etc...)

Pipercross Panel Filter

N75J valve (This was incorrectly fitted at time of mapping as will become evident)

Forge 007p

Milltek Downpipe

Milltek Sports Cat

Milltek Cat Back (Anni exit, as if it makes a difference)

Bosch 440cc Injectors

Standard 3 bar FPR.

Twin Intercoolers.

Hot-Tuning Coilovers (I Know, i know)...

Black Diamond Drilled and Grooved discs with green stuff pads (front)

Green stuff discs and pads (rear)

Full Powerflex Bush kit

So after that, an idea of the power???

241.3 BHP @ 6473 rpm Engine (215.4 @ 5375 rpm wheels)
280.4 lbft @ 3,453 rpm

These figures are off of Dastek's rolling road, which are one of the most accurate in the country.

First, shortly after I recieved her...

Since I got her back after 7 months in the garage, I gave her a little hose down yesterday and took some more pics, so will get her a proper wash and polish today. But how she sits now...

Until I can get some 18's or 19's

Happy with it at the moment, but gonna put her into the bodyshop soon for a couple bits and pieces soon. Just generally tidy her up a bit I think.

Ok. Picked up some 18's for her today. She has now had her polish, removed the GOLF badge, replaced the big rear VW badge, and put on a stubby ariel.

Here are pics...

Well, now I have my scanner working again, I thought I would add some completeness to this post with my dyno printout. Here it is...

I like it ;)

Those brakes look lost in those wheels, maybe time for a brembo upgrade.

LOL. Yeah they do. Dunno if I want to spend upwards of ANOTHER grand on the motor though. Its 10 years old afterall.

Well. Did all the upgrades, had fun for 2k miles, and sold it. Oh well. Made a huge loss, but replaced it with a V6 4Motion. Not to worry.

bet the v6 4 motion is abit slower in comparison. what sort of poer do they have?

Yep. Quite a bit slower by comparison, lol. Never mind.

It does have 204BHP as standard. Got a non-res Milly on it, and Green cotton Panel filter just now. Heard of up to 240BHP with just these mods, but the proof is in the pudding, so I'll get her on a RR soon to see what the story is.

Sorting out the suspension next month with AP coilovers and R32 ARB's. Will do the rear brakes asewell while I'm at it as the fronts are nearly new, so wont matter for them.

BUT, the plan is forced induction with my 4wd system. Uprated Haldex controller and 400 BHP is my focus. I'll put up a thread with how she is sitting just now...

sounds good mate. all thes best. atleast theyl be a nicer engine note then the 1.8 t one.

well i like the back of your car a lot
great up gradation
you did nice mod dude....
