    VW Jetta 2.0T

Anyone got one of these ?

I'm interested in getting something with a bit more luggage space over my A3. The A4 and Passat are a bit too big, so the Jetta might fit the bill. Love the 2.0T engine in my A3 though.

I looked long and hard at the Jetta 2.0T for the same reasons as you. Decided against it due to it`s slightly ungainly looks (IMHO) and the threat of poor residual value.

I got a Passat in the end and have been really chuffed with it.

Yes the Passat is a great car, but really a bit too big for me. I quite like the look of the Jetta - it's like a 7/8th scale Passat !

I too have read that the Jetta may depreciate more than the Golf, but then it costs less to begin with. A 5-dr Golf GTI costs £20.8k whereas the mechanically identical Jetta 2.0T is £18.8k.
