IS there many problems witht hem or isit just my m8s one ?
Cannot remember exact things that have hapend, but i think is things like the waterpump going ect...

I think the car does just under 1k Miles per year aswell ... LoL

you need to watch out for the heads going, they are quite common i do believe and a pig to fix, the engines run at high temperatures naturally but i know many which have gone through 2 or 3 heads.

I sold my old one to my uncle its a 1993 k and it has developed a crack across the underneath of the chassis where a bung has fallen out and it started to rot.Plus abs sensors on my mums and mine went.

abs is very common. The head gasket is also quite common. But usually they are quite good. Ive had one and am currently runnig a corrado vr6 engine in my golf now.
