Some dozy woman driver hit the back of my dads car the other day...it was only at a low speed so at first glance there didnt seem to be any damage. We got it checked out at VW and they spotted that one of the number plate lights was missing. They said it would cost £145+ VAT to take the bumper off and have a look, then put it back on!!! That price included (of course) the cost of a new light, which is just a measley £4.67 + VAT. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
So today i have had a look and cant see the wiring for the other light anywhere!!!! I stripped as much of it down as i could without taking the bumper completely off but couldnt see the other wiring. I could see the wires for the other light no problem!!
Does anyone have any experience with this??? Any one had to take the bumper off a mark five golf??? I can take the bumper off like..thats pretty easy but i am sure that there wont be anything there!!!
Your help would be appreciated.
