Time for Brakes '99 Golf MKIV Any Suggestions

It's time for new brakes and rotors all around in my car. I'm a pretty aggressive driver and wondered if anyone has upgraded to the Audi TT brakes? Are these difficult/expensive to install? Perhaps just better rotors and pads will do the trick? Any suggestions out there?
