My name's Peter and I will be taking ownership of a 1994 Volkswagen Golf. It will actually be my first volkswagen. I drove a Polo while in Norway for a time but it wasn't really mine. My father in law is pretty happy that I will be a VW owner seeing as how he has only owned one car of another make since he's been married (over 35 years!)and many many VWs.
The car I will be getting hasn't been maintained as well as I like to take care of cars. I will be relying on forums and your expertise for many things.
