hi guys
i,ve been offered an 02 plate mk4 anniversary diesel with 120k on the clock! its been pretty well cared for, timing belt done, new tyres etc, but the mileage is putting me off a little, the tempting part is its only Ł3800.What do you guys think any thoughts?
3800 is a very good price. Diesels usually go for far more than the petrol version. 120,000 miles is nothing on a diesel (although the pd150 can be prone to cam lobe wear) and is just above average for a 2002 car
Thats what I thought, the cam issues worries me a little and the front two wings are starting to corrode in the usual places and have already been refused warranty repair! Thanks for the reply!
Price seems very reasonable, saw one in an NI VW forum and went for considerably more...looked smashing though!
