Thread: Guitar Hero World Tour or Rock Band Wii??

Evening all, my son already has guitar hero III for the wii with 2 guitar controllers but for chrimbo we are getting him a wii drum kit and mic.
My question is has anyone got either/both games and which do you prefer and for what reason? I'm not really sure which one to go for but i want to use the 2 guitar controllers with the new game.
I'm quite tempted with guitar hero because then i can also play GH metallica, but the rock band 2 song list is quite good also.

We bought Rock Band for the PS3 instead of Guitar Hero, it was better value. We was also told at the time - from the well known computer game shop - that the Guitar Hero games are compatable with Rock Band but not the other way round. If this is true and you bought the Rock Band drum kit your current games will not work with the drums.
