About LinkBacksBit of a sad question but when playing and the ball goes out of play for a through in or corner does the ref blow his whistle on yours as on mine he dosn't and it really does my head!

well to actually help you.. on the ps3 the whistle doesn't blow, but that's the demo .. so don't know about the proper version!
i'll ask around if any of my mates have it on the 360 though
