Hi, just got my S3 and was wondering if there were something on vag com which can switch on Alarm Bleeps and auto locking when driving? If any one can help it would be much appreciated, i am in the bolton area and will pay or sort some beers out for whoever can help.

Assuming you have vagcom, go into module 46 convenience & long coding which has various tick boxes you can play with for your options requested, just take note of your coding before you mess with it so if any issues you can return it to working state before changing.

If you have a MY10 car then this has changed to module 09 as the 46 & 09 modules have merged & you will need to test with vagcom version beta 10.3 to see if the label file has been added for this now as 908 wasnt compatibile with MY10 8P's certain modules

Just managed to activate anti hi-jack by adding 32 to code but unable to activate alarm chirp when adding 1024 is there another code to activate both in one hit?

Ah sorry maybe I was reading different post at the same time, you have an 8L S3 2002 yes not an 8P S3?

Which module you going into for the coding of chirps as it maybe an adaptation channel you need as per this link

Thats for the Golf but gives you an idea, whats the part number for your module you're in, should be at the top of the page when in the module, then I can check label file possibly to correctly advise.

Thanks to Chris (my neighbour) we have got it sorted we had added amounts up wrong, we now have Chirp, Anti Hi-jack and windows down and up on key...
