this may not be the right place, but hopefully someone can give me a quick answer. I have an odb2 cable purchase from ebay which works fine on the S3 +vagcom, but I want to use it in our other car - fiesta 1.25 zetec 2000. I have a disk with , like loads of free software but not sure which one to use. Or is there an equivalent shareware version of vagcom for the fiesta ?

Uh no, not cheeky, but maybe a thought needed here mate, this is an audi forum & you're asking us about a ford, also you're asking us on the vagcom forum, vagcom only does vag cars, so take from that what you want, but there are tools for fords, but I wont speculate whats best as I dont use them sorry.

fair enough. I say 'cheeky' because I've seen questions pop on these boards about owners 'other' cars (non-audi).

Its not a pop & you are well within your rights to ask any question, just didnt seem the right section mate to get any help, try in general section.
