Error HVAC module - 01301

Guys
Finally got around to coding the car followng retrofitting an RNS-E unit.
Everthing seems OK and no fault codes.
However, rather than trimming the climate unit I bought a second hand unit from one of the other forum members.
Now scanning using VCDS, I get the following:

I assumine that the previous owner had bluetooth fitted and the unit was coded for this (not sure why). So I therefore assume I need to change the coding on the HVAC module but no where can I find a guide the HVAC coding.

Having seen this code only mentioned a couple of times people seem to cure it by having to change their CAN coding but mine is fine.

Any clues or suggestions?

At first glance it would appear that the module is coded incorrectly, but that module does not get coded directly. Can you post the complete auto scan from before the retrofit and after? If all of the modules were shown this may help determine what the corrective action is.

I don't have a scan from before but will post just after having done all the retrofit fit.
Do you think it may have something to do with the car it came from may have had a BT module (77 I think it is) and I don't?

Just check the steering wheel & rns for coding related to telephone, if its coded for phone & yours doesnt have then decode, simple.

Also I have an FBMFSW for sale with airbag in VGC.

Turn on engine, then go into 08 Hvac, basic settings & 001 then go & this will adapt the climate to check all fucntions, then clear the error & leave climate in use & this should clear the V113 error, tbh its common to get these thrown up by the climate system, although they always work even with errors, 2nd check your key 1 has full functions for locking systems & starts car ok

I went to car, then version and that's what came up, does this mean its out of date or running completely the wrong firmware?

I dont recall the other alphanumeric info tbh mate on rns FW versions, if the 0603 is the version then it certainly needs an update to 0650 & with SDS its made to 0660.

Dont worry to much as I got an rns recently & it said X in the version info, lol, so I updated it with SDS properly & it showed 0660 perfectly afterwards.

What year dvd's are you using?

I'm sure its 0600 on the 07 dvd's, maybe a forced firmware install would check this, just go into nav & adaptation channel 97, set to a 1 then install the 2007 dvd & it should auto install the firmware on that dvd mate, can obtain updated firmwares namely the 0660 version which is the hack for sds, 07 dvd still works with this btw, so no harm in updating it with this, PM your email address then I'll email you the sds files to write to a disc & install.
