Does anyone know what this fault means? do i need new glow plugs?
I do not have any problems at the moment, but i dont want it to become a bigger problem later.
cheers guys

I had it on cylinder 3 glow plug. From what I found on the other VAG-related forums it might be the wiring connected to the particular glow plug or the glow plug itself may need replacing.

1st thing I'd do is check the loom for any wires damaged, if nothing apparent then replace the glowplug.

Is it difficult to replace the glowplugs? Do I need any special tools?
