Following on from MikeA3's list of members, below you'll find a links to a map with the locations of Audi-Sport.net members who own one of Ross Tech's VCDS (formerly VAG-COM) diagnostics systems and are prepared to offer help to others who may need diagnostic/module coding assistance.
You will find a link to the profile to each member with which they can be contacted; and either their approximate (for security reasons) location, an area within which they may travel to offer assistance. Details and terms of any potential meetings should be arranged on a case-by-case basis between the individuals involved.
If you're contacting someone for help, remember that is exactly what you are doing. Be polite and courteous - it's quite likely the person you're contacting doesn't OWE you a favour. Also remember that although the vast majority of common tasks VCDS' facilities the completion of are risk-free, there are some procedures which when performed incorrectly could adversely affect the condition/functionality/safety of a vehicle/its components. Unless otherwise stated, individuals offer assistance with no warranty. In short, if you need help with something at the 'riskier' end of the spectrum, check that at least one (but preferably all) parties know how to complete the job safely and correctly.
Information will only be added to this map when a request for inclusion is received by adding a post to this thread including the details to be added, the format for that is below. For requests to edit or remove any data please contact any Moderator or Administrator via Private Message.
This map is provided as a free resource for the benefit of the Audi/VAG community. Audi-Sport.net accepts no responsibility/liability for the information presented here, or any injury/damage/loss to persons or property resulting from the presence or use of this data in any way - this includes but is not limited to injury, damage or loss of any type caused by incorrect and/or negligent use of tools/equipment.
PLEASE NOTE: There are two pages of contacts on the map and the map will only show the markers for those on each page at a time (rubbish, I know).
To be added to the list
Please reply to this post with the location you want the pin (preferably the city/town), the area you would be willing to cover, which type of cable you have and the software version if it's not fully registered. Other contact details can be added to the pin such as a phone number or email address. Other diagnostic software (VAG or otherwise) can also be added.
Sorry for the delays in updating. I don't get on ASN very much at the moment.
