2003 A6 Avant 2.5 TDI Auto 163 Sport

Hi I have posted this problem on the Air Con forum & the A6 forum & this is my last port of call!

My aircon is now off most of the time & occassionally cuts in. It seems to be an electrical problem as when it cuts in I can hear a click.

I took a fault code reading with my cheap shareware VCDS and this is what I got:

I tried to locate the clicking & took off the panel to access the relays. I couldn't pin it down (as it stopped & the aircon stayed off) but it seemed to be in the area of the relays numbered 370 & 373 - although if their supply was intermittent it would cause them to click anyway...

It would seem that I have a bad connection some where.....

I am almost resigned now of having to put this in to Audi - but any help or advice would be appreciated - particularly if it solves the problem!!

Shareware 805.1, I dont recall such a thing, where did you get it?

Sorry NHN perhaps I am mistaken..

I bought it from a well known shopping site on the internet - I assumed it was a shareware version with a third party lead. The software did come on a disc, however, which I thought was easier than dowmloading it.

There was never a shareware version of 805. You are either using an illegal copy of the VCDS/VAG-COM product or you have bought from a legit distributor listed on our distributor page. Incidentally, there are no other legitimate sales channels for our products.
