I've been doing research into how to record the BHP of the car using VAG-COM and I found that you can do it using the Meas Block .08 in group 003, and logging that should record:

Engine RPM
Air Mass Flow
Throttle Opening
Ign. Timing

The main one being the Air Mass Flow, as once this is logged you take the highest value from the Air Mass Flow column and divide by 0.8 to get the approx BHP... or I may be totally wrong!

My Problem is I dont know what module to open the Meas Block 08 in... I suspected it was Engine, and still do suspect that for obvious reasons, but no matter what group I select, I cant find one called "Air Mass Flow"...

Kudos for any help :)

That would be a non genuine version I assume :whip:

704.1 is a fairly old version, have you tried to update it to 908.1 or did he say dont update it?

I havent even tried tbh, he hasnt used it for a while since he got rid of his A3 so gave it to me. Would it be safe to update it? I assumed the licence was for that version...

Thats upto you mate, check with RT if its a proper genuine version & registered 1st.
