Airbag light

Hi,

Started my 2004 A3 today and had the airbag light come on for the first time. There is nothing obvious so it's going to need a VAG-COM and with the local Audi dealership charging a fortune, I hope someone out there can help? I am in the North Herts (SG1) area so if there is anyone who can spare 5 mins to help it would be really appreciated.

Also, how much is the VAG-COM cable and software anyway? I have seen prices in the region of £200 and I know I'll probably see a return on that over the years but not sure where the best place is to buy one. Ebay is just full of cheap rip offs!
