Fault code 1279, any ideas?

alrite lads

linked my 99 A3 quattro to a vag machine, coming up with a fault code of 1279

any ideas what it is?

im having ABS issues, i was pointed in the direction of the longitudinal sensor, replaced that still doing the same (granted it was a 2nd hand one tho)

but i dont want to go buy a £120 brand new one if its not even that that is causing the fault, i've been chasing my tail on this one for about a year now and getting now where, know one seems to know anything about it or be able to help me with it.
