No access to modules "42-Door Elect, Driver" & "52-Door Elect, Pass"

Hello.

Today I tried to recode (temporaly) the modules "42-Door Elect, Driver" and "52-Door Elect, Pass.", but I have no access. There are no seperate 42 and 52 modules. I need to have access to these modules because I am going to retrofit warning and puddle lights on the front doors.

You cannot access what is not in your car. You do not have a "42" or "52" module. Here is a list of what should be in your B6 platform A4: http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/car...ions/a4s4.html

Aha that would make sense, lol, whoops, I cant recall from my B6 S4 but was it all done via 46 Bruce?

Yes, if it can be done, it would be done in the "46" module. I think it is not supported by the module and it would most likely be done by hardwiring things - but - I'm by no means the master of modifications. There must be more folks on here who have played with this stuff.
