auto scan from a novice

Hi just plugged vag com into van before i use it on car did a auto scan the fault codes shown dont highlite in red so cant do anything with them is there another way to remove or is it that they not hurting anything cos they intermittant and dont need to be removed any help appreciated

ps VDCS version is now latest from ross tech 805.03 i believe

You remove the faults by clearing the DTCs. If the Clear all DTCs button was not active when the scan finished, then you go into each module and clear the fault codes there.

For example: [Select][Engine - 01][Fault Codes][Clear DTCs]

That is correct and you can download that version. There were some minor bugs in version 805.0. You should update.

I suspect your temp sensor is on it's way out. Or if not the sensor itself, the wiring is going on the fritz. Not sure what is going on with the brake pedal.
