Hello,
I've just done a scan and as the scan started, up on the dash it said ABS fault, drive to dealer carefully..... I though it was a bit odd so as the scan went on, sure enough it's popped up with an ABS fault.

01314 - Engine Control Module
004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent

I took the car out and tested the ABS and it's working fine..... So I cleared the code.
I then did another scan and straight away it popped up on the dash ABS fault, drive to dealer carefully but this time no fault code.......
Is it normal for this to pop up when doing a scan? I have run the scan a few times now and the same thing happens but no code.
The ABS fault was some time ago so it wasn't recent....... Bit weird if you ask me.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks

EDIT: There was also this......

When scanning I believe it turns the ABS controller off so you get the error. Not sure if it logs a fault code though.
Though may be wrong
